The performance Invitation explores the public space of the city of Rennes. Through the daily meals, the two artists Marcy Petit and Romain Revers reconciled the intimacy of mealtime with public urban spaces.
During two weeks, Marcy Petit and Romain Revers invited and cooked for two different guests during breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. Tables, chairs, plates, cutlery were taken from the habitual kitchen space into the unfamiliar outside world.
The curious passers-by observed a new conviviality and reconsidered their relationship with the urban world.
